Blurry Vision

Blurry vision has many causes from refractive error to dry eyes

Blurry Vision

Blurry vision is probably the number one reason why people visit our office. The leading cause is a refractive error that needs to be corrected. It may be that your vision is blurry all the time, at a distance or near. It could also be an aging thing (40 plus).

Some people hate the word bifocals, but you have to be brave and accept that after 40 years of age, just about everyone needs power reading glasses! Fortunately, in clear high-definition lenses, today's lenses are superior from Distance viewing to near reading.

Dry Eyes

Dry Eyes are a challenging reason why millions complain about blurry vision. Finding the cause of your dry eyes requires special testing as it will determine if the blurry vision is due to poor tear production or poor tear quality. Also, some medications, like antibiotics, affect the eyes.

Artificial tears for dry eyes come in different formulas and are one of the many ways to treat it. We also use punctual plugs to allow the eye to retain tears. Our experts may also recommend a medication. We can help your dry eye! We can Help Blurry Vision!
