Dan Acosta, L.D.O. B.C. Opt. is Florida Licensed and Florida Board of Opticianry certified in the fitting and adaptation of contact lenses. His practice concentrates on Medical Contact Lenses and Low Vision. Dan received academic and clinical training at the University of Houston, and his Contact lens training at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dan completed the academic requirements for credentials from IJCAHPO, OAA, ABO and NCLE. Having practiced alongside ophthalmologists and orthoptists for over twenty-five years, Dan has hands-on experience caring for thousands of patients. Florida Optical Services is staffed with Independent Optometrists and Ophthalmologists who complement the care offered at our practice.
