Emergency eye care at this location requires coordination of visits with Robert Mandelkorn, M.D.  Florida-licensed physician and surgeon with a specialty in Ophthalmology. 

    This Service is Not for Worker-Related Eye Accidents

Urgent Care is not for workers' comp. This service is specifically for minor eye emergencies, including issues like red eyes, abrasions, foreign bodies, flashes of light, floaters, or eye infections. There is limited availability.

 

If you have a worker-related injury, we will still see you. But under for workers' comp visit.

Limited availability. Self-referrals accepted for regular emergencies, not work-related. Please call before coming. Walk-ins are not accepted for emergency care. This service is strictly screened. Fort Myers Location.

Workers Comp Visit

Attention Workers' Comp Case Nurse Manager. Our Ophthalmologist will work with you and your patients who require ophthalmology services. We offer to see your patient as soon as we can.

 

  • Patient must be referred by the Case Manager Nurse/adjuster from the Worker's Comp Insurance. The worker-comp insurance must be notified.

  • Prepayment is required.* An Independent Ophthalmologist experienced in disability and worker comp. will see the patient. DWC forms are filled out on every visit.

  • If it is life-threatening, please visit the hospital ER.

  • Patient self-referrals are not accepted. 

  • Must call. No Walk-ins or Online Booking Allowed. An appointment must be scheduled by phone.
